4 Tips to Kickstart Your Training

"I dread working out. Until I do it."

If this is you, we get it. But we also know it'll be worth it. Push past dread, get an activity in and you'll get to see more of what Strava has to offer. To get started:

Start recording.

Recording an activity in the app's easy. The hard part is getting that effort started – and finished – but even those obstacles are no match for you if you put your mind to it. Get moving to log your first workout on Strava and see your activity data. →

Follow your friends.

Working out is more fun when you've got others rooting for you from near and far. Find friends on Strava and invite those who aren't to join! →

Join a club.

The quickest way to find inspiration, motivation – and most importantly – connection to other athletes is by joining a club. Browse clubs here to find some you like. →

Challenge yourself.

Choose one – or two or ten – of our day-long, week-long or month-long challenges. Seek out a challenge that gets you amped to participate. →

Lace up your sneakers and record a run, ride, hike, walk or workout of any kind, then kick back and relish the (sweaty) satisfaction of uploading your first activity to Strava.
